Very sad news that a HSE National Ambulance Service paramedic died today in the line of duty. Details of the incident won't be made public out of courtesy to his family & colleagues. Suffice to say it was a tragic accident which never should have happened.

Deepest sympathy to his family & colleagues.

Merged the two threads into one & moved to the other services section of the site in light of the fact that the deceased was not a member of the DFB.

Very Sad indeed
To think he went to work on a fine Summers day, just like the rest of us....And never came home.

As was said in an earlier thread, I think it is important that this does not turn into a "What Happened" thread.
Sympathy to his wife, Children and Colleagues in the NAS.
